It's a good time, breakfast. We must not spoil it. At La Claverie, we cook each year new jams with surprising flavors: melon and passion fruit, mint cherry, red plums with vanilla, caramel fig, etc.

At La Claverie, we prefer fish and shellfish: bar, lean, monkfish, mussels, oysters, etc. Normal: we are five kilometers from the sea ...
You can also enjoy duck with tea, salted duck "home", leg of lamb from Île de Ré, rabbit terrine with hazelnuts, rillettes of mackerel with coriander, sea bream tartare with squeezed tomatoes. For desserts: tart tatin with brown sugar, melon sorbet with fresh mint, pears au vin au gratinée ...

The terrace
If the weather is nice, and it is very often the case on the side of La Rochelle, we serve the breakfasts and the dinners on this large terrace, installed in the middle of the big garden, and all shaded by old cypresses and large charms. You can also enjoy some scented teas, around 17 hours, read or discuss, or refresh a delicious fresh rosé, as an aperitif.
